The starvation problem in Somalia. Mr Obama is trying to be funny on T.V and the little Somalian children just don't understand his pun (its about a food and they act like they don't know what the food is). Modern day Canada. A newspaper. Liberal. shows how america can just sit around eating and chillin while the kids in somalia have no food. I know the artist Cameron cardow is from canada hes an art director and illustrator and a we editor. Political cartoons. On the tv hes talking about peas ......they don't know what peas are. single frame. Word and image are both used. The words help describe whats going on. He uses the 2 starving children and barrack obama. the drawings are realistic. The present the problem with starvation in somalia. Comical tone. Its kinda funny so it makes the readers pay attention. 2 starving somalians and president Obama, president Obama being on the tv in the dessert. They do represent actual people. The cartoon refers to america. The cartoon speaks to a broad audience.
